The Simple Secret for Leveraging Social Media for Your Nonprofit

by | Aug 27, 2017 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

Where are all your new members? Where is all the money that helps your organization make lasting change in your community? Where are all tomorrow’s leaders who are looking for an outlet for their creativity and an organization who can help them realize it. And, why aren’t they coming to you?

Not having a presence on the Internet means you are pretty much invisible. Without being visible, your members will disappear. Your sources for funding will dry up. And, your chapter will become irrelevant in your community.

Getting a social media presence on the Internet isn’t hard if you know how to do it. Ted Talk speaker and Fairfax Chapter President John Bailey has been studying social media and public relations for years and he will be showing us his system for leveraging the power of social media to grow membership, raise more money, and make those community connections that are so important to the growth of any organization.

Just a few years ago, John realized the secret to getting current members reengaged while attracting valuable new ones when using social media.

Not all the social media options are right for every organization. By answering just a few simple questions, John will be able to help you choose which social media outlets are right for you and how effectively you can communicate your value using those channels.

Come join the Fredericksburg Area Chapter on Saturday, September 16, 2017 and learn John’s simple system for growing your chapter’s membership, improving fundraising, and becoming a well-known resource in your community.

Where and When:

10:00 to noon in the Cable Studio room at the Central Rappahannock Library, 1201 Caroline Street.
