Fail with Purpose: The Success Strategy that puts the Odds in your Favor

There are plenty of articles that tell you how to succeed. Here is one that shows you that failure is also an option in getting what you want.

‘…You can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will’ ~Stephen King

It’s not trying and failing that holds people back. It’s the fear of failure keeping people from trying that stifles their success. Failure doesn’t hold people back. It’s the fear of failure that keeps people from trying.

If you play the odds and keep trying, you will eventually succeed. Those who complain about never being hsuccessful are those who let the fear of failure interfere with giving it a try. The only true failure is if you don’t try.

Failure Works

As I said earlier, if you never try, you will never succeed. However, you can’t fail forever. Eventually, you will achieve your goals. You can’t lose all the time.

Those who suffer from fear of failure and who find they never try because they believe they will never succeed, should try a new approach. Rather than waiting for the perfect time and environment to succeed, you should fail as often as you can.

This technique works for me. I am one of those who does suffer from fear of failure syndrome. I often find myself thinking myself into in action because I worry about not being successful. I worry about what my friends might think. I worry about how I will feel. I just worry. So, I decided to try a different approach. My success system is to fail with reckless abandon.

Even if all the odds are against you, let’s say 1 million to one, if you fail 1 million times, you will succeed. However, if you don’t even lift a finger and attempt action, you are guaranteed to stay right where you are.

There was a book I read several years ago. It was called, quote feel the fear and do it anyway. Quote the title of this book summarizes my philosophy exactly. The fear of failure can suck. However, it is never killed anyone. So, plan to fail your way to success. Rather than playing it safe and waiting for the perfect time to act, take a chance and failure way to success. Each failure will bring you closer to your ultimate goals.
